School starts soon! ACA recommends that parents should remind their children about safety concerning the school bus. Always cross the street in front of the school bus while the red lights are flashing. Don’t run or play in the street while waiting for the bus, this can lead to serious accidents. Remain seated while the bus is moving, and never put your hands or head out of the school bus windows. Always listen to the bus driver’s instructions, as they are there for the children’s safety. We also remind drivers to exercise extra caution when driving near school buses or bus stops, and to obey all school bus signals.
