Helping Out For The Holidays
Mary Ann Abrahamsen, President of the Board of Friends of the Poor, accepted a check in the amount of $5,000.00 from the Penn Security Bank & Trust Co. to help support the organization’s holiday brunch.
Project Head Start Award 1/19/2009
Abrahamsen, Moran & Conaboy, P.C. was awarded The Volunteer Award for 2008 from Project Head Start. The entire office participated in donating cloths and toys at Christmas for the children who attend programs through Head Start.
American Bar Association Pro Bono Award 8/15/2007
On August 8, 2007, the American Bar Association Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service and the American Bar Association Center for Pro Bono awarded Abrahamsen, Moran & Conaboy, P.C. the Pennsylvania Bar Association's 2007 Pro Bono Award for the firm's outstanding commitment to pro bono service in Lackawanna County.
PA Bar Association Pro Bono Award 5/24/07 The Pennsylvania Bar Association has recognized our law firm for its commitment to give back to the community by awarding us the PA Bar Association Award for 2007. We at Abrahamsen, Moran and Conaboy place great importance on the value of legal representation for everyone, and this award shows how strongly committed we are to this ideal.
Equal Access to Justice Award 1/18/07 Abrahamsen, Moran & Conaboy is one of only three firms in Lackawanna County selected to receive the Equal Access to Justice Award. This award recognizes law firms who participate in the Lackawanna County Pro Bono program. The Pro Bono program provides legal representation for those people who are unable to afford an attorney. Our law firm is excited to receive the award and also appreciate the opportunity to give back to our local community. This is the second year in a row that the our firm has received this honor.
